Publications & Research

The MFHR has a rich publishing and research activity in Greece and abroad, covering a wide range of topics related to the protection of human rights. It has published more than 100 books, including original monographs, conference proceedings and collective volumes. It runs two series of publications in collaboration with the publishing houses Pedone (Paris) and Nomiki Bibliothiki Group (Athens). Moreover, the Foundation's scientific associates actively participate in the scientific dialogue through studies and articles published in prestigious Greek and foreign journals, collective volumes, etc. Furthermore, the MFHR co-publishes and co-edits, together with the Carré de Malberg Research Institute and the Center for International and European Studies of the University of Strasbourg, the bilingual (English/French) online journal Europe of Rights and Liberties/Europe des Droits et Libertés, a journal with original contributions on current developments in the field of human rights, as well as theoretical studies on specific issues in the field. At the same time, it is particularly important to instruct all ages in human rights, especially children, because respect for rights in practice is above all an attitude to life that is formed and cultivated. Based on this position, the MFHR has translated into Greek and distributed educational books on human rights published by the UN and the Council of Europe.
