The President of the MFHR, Professor Linos-Alexander Sicilianos, participated yesterday in the Conference held at the Goethe Institute, organized by the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), the Athens Court of Appeal, the German Embassy in Greece, and the Heinrich Böll Foundation, on the topic: “Climate Change as a Contemporary Legal Issue in the National, International, and EU legal Order.”

Professor Sicilianos discussed the issue of climate change before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, and the International Court of Justice, placing particular emphasis on the relationship between environmental protection and human rights.
