The Governing Board of the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights (MFHR) is delighted to announce that Dr. Maria-Andriani Kostopoulou, esteemed Member of the MFHR Governing Board, has been unanimously re-elected as President of the Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO).

Dr. Kostopoulou holds a unique distinction in the history of GREVIO: since the establishment of the Group under the 2011 Istanbul Convention, she remains the only Member to have served six consecutive years in the body and to have held the position of President for two terms.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Kostopoulou on her re-election and wish her continued success in her vital role, as well as to GREVIO in its mission to combat all forms of violence against women across Europe.

The MFHR reaffirms its unwavering support for the efforts of this independent international body and is pleased to announce the organization of a new event this coming autumn, further underscoring its commitment to the cause.
