Linos-Alexander Sicilianos anointed Doctorate Honoris Causa of the University of Paris – II
Yesterday, the ceremony of the anointment of the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Athens and former President of the ECtHR, Linos-Alexander Sicilianos, as Doctorate Honoris Causa of the University of Paris-II Panthéon-Assas, took place at the Sorbonne Grand Auditoriun.
The President of the University Professor Stéphane Braconnier awarded the insignia to Professor Sicilianos. The laudatio was delivered by Olivier de Frouville and Sébastien Touzé, Professors of International Law. Professor Sicilianos’ intervention focused on the Human Dimension of International Law.
