We are extremely proud to announce that the President of the MFHR, Professor Linos-Alexander Sicilianos, has been unanimously elected President of the Curatorium of the Hague Academy of International Law.

The Hague Academy of International Law, officially inaugurated on 14 July 1923 at the Peace Palace in The Hague, is a world-renowned institution for teaching and research in public and private international law, dedicated to advancing the scientific study of the legal aspects of international relations.

This important distinction is a recognition of Professor Sicilianos’ longstanding contribution to international law and human rights, and a moment of great honour for the MFHR.
