On Thursday, June 26, 2025, the closing ceremony of the school year was held at the Avlona Special Youth Detention Center in an emotionally charged atmosphere.

For the 18th consecutive year, the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights (MFHR) proudly presented awards to students of the Elementary School, Secondary School and High School who stood out for their behavior, regular class attendance and academic performance. We extend our warmest congratulations to all the students for their commendable efforts.

Τhe MFHR was represented at the ceremony by  Mr. Petros Damianos, Secretary General of the MFHR Governing Board and former Director of the Elementary School, Secondary School, High School and the Institute of Vocational Training operating within the Avlona Special Juvenile Detention Center, as well as Dr. Maria-Andriani Kostopoulou, Member of the MFHR Governing Board.
